MSRI

Perhaps our biggest success has been the million solar roof initiative (MSRI).

To track the progress of MSRI, a federal registry was established by DOE.
Of the total of solar systems registered in the One Million Solar Roofs program 90 % are the result of Hawaii residents install solar systems under the HECO’s solar programs.
Today Hawaii has over 1300 solar system on federal facilities which is 65% of the national target of 2000 solar systems in 2000.
