EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2010, HOURS OF OPERATION FOR THE DIVISION OF BOATING AND OCEAN RECREATION ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE LOCATED AT 333 QUEEN STREET, (INCLUDING VESSEL REGISTRATION AND FISCAL SERVICES) WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
7:45 A.M. TO 4:15 P.M. WEEKDAYS, EXCEPT FOR HOLIDAYS AND FURLOUGH DAYS (CLOSED).
IMPORTANT NOTICE
VESSELS MOORED IN DLNR FACILITIES WILL BE REQUIRED
TO CARRY INSURANCE EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 1, 2009
All vessels moored in DLNR/DOBOR facilities, including harbors and off-shore moorings, will be required to carry insurance effective 12/1/2009. Vessel owners will be required to show proof of insurance (a policy, policy declaration page or insurance card) when applying or reapplying for mooring permits. Acceptable coverage would include a minimum of $300,000 in boat liability insurance (protection
and indemnity) that names the State of Hawaii, Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation as “additional insured" or "additional interest.”
