We are excited to share one of our first products for Hawaii's Comprehensive Wildlife Conservation Strategy.  We welcome your comments and feedback as your participation is very important to us in developing a CWCS that is supported by the people in our islands.  Below, you will find downloadable draft species fact sheets for your review (please note that more species fact sheets are currently being developed and will be available in the following weeks).  These species fact sheets will be informational appendix items included in Hawaii's CWCS and will fulfill seven out of the eight required elements by the National Advisory Acceptance Team.  Specifically, these species fact sheets are meant to convey basic information on the distribution and abundance of species, location and condition of their key habitats, threats, conservation actions, and monitoring activities. Most of the information was compiled from existing management plans as well as input from various government agencies, scientists, researchers, and non-profit organizations.
