Pursuant to section 171-29, Hawaii Revised Statutes, the Board of Land and Natural Resources is mandated to submit a written report annually to the Legislature of all land dispositions made in the preceding year.
This report includes information relevant to these land dispositions, including but not limited to the persons to whom the disposition is made, the purpose for which the disposition is made, land classification, tax map key and rental or sales price.

The 2001 Hawaii State Legislature enacted legislation, translated as Act 236, Session Laws of Hawaii (SLH) 2001, directing the Department of Land and Natural Resources (Department) to expedite discussions with representatives of Parker Ranch, K.K. Ranch, Inc., Schuman Carriage Corporation, and Boteilho Enterprises, Inc.

Department of Land and Natural Resources Project-Funded Staff Services Budget Report
Act 259, Session Laws of Hawaii 2001, requests the Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) to submit to the Legislature twenty days prior to the 2002 and 2003 regular sessions, a project-funded (Capital Improvements Program) staff services budget report. The report is to include a listing of all permanent and non-permanent capital improvements program related positions by number, position title, and compensation (including fringe benefits). Further, the report is to include actual expenditures for each position for the first five months of the fiscal year.

Annual Report on North Shore Paukauila Streambank Erosion & Riparian Area Community Restoration Project
This annual report is prepared pursuant to Senate Concurrent Resolution 223, Senate Draft 1, Regular Session of 1995, and covers the period July 1, 2000 through June 30, 2001.
This concurrent resolution requests the Department of Land and Natural Resources Flood Control Section to assist the Paukauila Streambank and Riparian Area Community Restoration Project by providing information, expertise, and support in their efforts to coordinate and maintain the Paukauila Streambank, and to report its findings and accomplishments to the Legislature on a yearly basis.
