Water Commission Must File Records Report

In examining whether the UIPA’s public records report requirements apply to the Review Commission
on the State Water Code (Commission), the OIP concluded that the Commission is a government
"agency" under the UIPA and, like all other agencies, must file a public records report. The
Commission was created by the Legislature to review all matters relating to the State’s water code,
and was placed administratively within the Legislative Reference Bureau.
